OTOR is a Saudi space planning and interior/exterior design studio based in Riyadh, working with clients across the Kingdom.
We started from a pattern we saw in almost every home
In many of the projects we visited, the real problem was never the decoration — it was the plan itself: a majlis you could not reach without crossing the family living room, a kitchen stranded far from the dining room, a master bedroom with no visual privacy, and metres of corridor doing no work at all.
Decoration does not fix those mistakes; it hides them for a few years. So we made planning the first and most important thing we do: we re-read the floor plan before opening any design software, propose a layout that works, then build a visual language worthy of it.
And because the Saudi market has shifted considerably — back towards natural materials and earth tones, and towards re-reading Najdi architecture in a contemporary language — we design with that shift in mind: spaces that carry the identity of the place and serve the rhythm of daily life in it, rather than copies lifted from catalogues that suit neither our climate nor our customs.

Discovery & briefing
Site visit and measured survey, plus a detailed brief covering users, daily patterns, budget and timeline.
Concept planning
Two or three layout options with a mood board and a design direction, discussed with you until one is locked in.
Development & 3D
The approved layout becomes visualised space with real materials and lighting, refined through a defined number of revision rounds.
Shop drawings & BoQ
